Copic Smash Book

 

Hey! I'm back! Haven't been doing much coloring this past week but the week before I added to my 

"Reds" page in my Copic coloring book. I love these two new stamps I ordered! So much fun to color. I have yet to make a card out of them.

I took a picture of the stamps in their packaging...If your interested in them I bought them from All That Scraps.

Hopefully I will have time in the next week or so to make a card with these cuties!

I just thought I would share them.

I will be back soon with the Easter banner flags I made for the girls. Can't post them until they get them in the mail. Don't want to spoil the fun!

North Carolina Journal..........

 

I'm back.....I have been very busy the last couple days working on my book for my vacation to North Carolina! It's seems that I cant stop adding things to this book. Every time I walk into my Scrap Loft I find myself turning through the pages and adding more tags, stamps, and embellishments.

I looked through some of my old stash of paper to make this book and decided to use some old Websters Pages and some paper from 7gypsies.

Here's some of my completed pages......... but first the cover.....

 

 

I got the idea to make this kind of book from my friends. I took an old book and tore out pages and glued together the remaining ones. This left me with thick pages to cover and space between each page for embellishments/tags/etc. I covered the the entire book with paper and Mod Podged the cover to help protect it. Each page has pockets filled with tags to journal on and to stuff photos or other collection I gather up. Some of the pages I left large spaces so I can glue photo's directly to the page. This was a fun project! I am already trying to think of the next thing I can make!

Just Wanted to Share....

I am back with a quick post. I was playing around on Pinterest the other night and came across a great blog. The lady of the blog is making a darling Smash Book of her different color combos that she likes to use. This Smash book works as a great reference to use while you are coloring stamps with your Copic's and or Prisma Pencils. Here is a link to her blog  http://craftymummy2five.blogspot.com.au/. Anyways I loved one of the combo's she used for hair and skin. So here is my version using them....

 

I LOVE the way her Cammo pants came out....I think I will have to try that technique again!

Let's Party!

Well we here in California are waiting for the rain to start. The forecast has rain on it for the next 7 days!
I guess we will have to wait and see what happens because it seems that half the time the weather forecast is incorrect here.

I have been doing a little chatting on the phone today and a little skyping......and did some coloring on one of my new stamps! Kraftin Kimmie Stamps has this cute little Let's Party girl named Julie.

I didn't make a card for her yet....that will come later. Just thought I would share a glimpse of her for now. I have another project that I want to get started on....an altered book project for a future vacation I'm going on. Next month I am flying to North Carolina to visit a girlfriend that moved there almost two years ago. Were gonna have a blast! So I need to get started on my scrap/memory album/journal!

Celebration

Hello Again..........!

Well it's that time of year when there's lot's of celebrating going on. Weather it's celebrating Birthdays, graduations, weddings, or new baby's. 

Since I had stamped out a couple of these cute Balloon Kalee's I decided to color the other one for my stash. Here she is..... I popped out the balloon to give it a little pazazz!
